Information collected
The enquiry form collects your name, email address, optional telephone number, optional project location, type of work and the project details you provide. The website and its security providers also process technical request information such as IP address, browser information and request time to deliver and protect the service.
Purpose and lawful basis
Enquiry details are used to respond, assess project suitability, request further information and take steps at your request before a possible contract. The lawful basis is taking pre-contractual steps. Technical request and security information is processed for the legitimate interests of operating a secure and reliable website. Necessary cookies are used for those same operational interests; optional analytics relies on consent.
How enquiries are transmitted and stored
The form is transmitted over HTTPS to WordPress, where it is protected by a nonce, honeypot, validation and rate limiting. After validation, WordPress sends the enquiry to the configured SGB business mailbox. The SGB plugin does not save the form message in the WordPress database and does not write its contents to a public log. The receiving mailbox stores the message and any subsequent correspondence.
Service providers
GoDaddy provides managed WordPress hosting. Cloudflare provides content delivery and security. WordPress runs the website and passes enquiry messages to the site’s mail transport; the business mailbox provider receives them. Complianz records cookie choices in the visitor’s browser. The mailbox provider and professional advisers process information only where needed to handle the enquiry, operate the business or meet legal obligations.
Cookies and analytics
Necessary hosting, security, WordPress and Complianz technologies operate the website and remember privacy choices. Google Analytics is loaded only when a valid GA4 measurement ID has been entered and the visitor has accepted the Statistics category in Complianz. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
Retention
Website enquiry records are retained for 12 months from the last meaningful contact, unless the enquiry leads to a contract or a longer period is required by law.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, erasure, restriction or transfer, and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent for optional analytics at any time through Cookie settings; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.
